behold the hour, the boat arrive

behold the hour, the boat arrive;

thou goest, the darlg of y heart;

sever&039;d fro thee, can i survive,

but fate has will&039;d and we t part

i&039;ll often greet the surgg swell,

yon distant isle will often hail:

“e&039;en here i took the st farewell;

there, test ark&039;d her vanish&039;d sail”

along the litary shore,

while flittg sea-fowl round cry,

across the rollg, dashg roar,

i&039;ll wesard turn y wistful eye:

“happy thou dian grove,” i&039;ll say,

“where now y nancy&039;s path ay be!

while thro&039; thy sweets she loves to stray,

o tell , does she e on !”
