i call no goddess to spire y stras,

a fabled e ay suit a bard that feigns:

friend of y life! y ardent spirit burns,

and all the tribute of y heart returns,

for boons aorded, goodness ever new,

the gifts still dearer, as the giver you

thou orb of day! thou other paler light!

and all ye any sparklg stars of night!

if aught that giver fro y d efface,

if i that giver&039;s bounty e&039;er disgrace,

then roll to along your wand&039;rig spheres,

only to nuber out a vil&039;s years!
